This painting was sparked from a random paint mark from one my sketchbooks, where a mark of vibrant blue and green was so deep and beautiful, I had to try and recreate it in a larger way. The deep colour was created by dense watercolour, which also brought amazing textures that added more depth. Many of us are fascinated by the power of the mind, the drawings at the bottom poke at this curiosity and exploration. ‘Star-Lights’ is available as limited-edition prints.
